Bio

My name is Mariana. I am from Ukraine. My native language is Ukrainian. I also speak English and Polish and know the Crimean Tatar language at the elementary level. My work as a university teacher includes also implementing Wikipedia educational program. I edit Wikipedia and other wikiprojects, in particular Wikimedia Commons, Wikivoyage, Wikiquotes, etc. In September 2024 I became a board member of Wikimedia Ukraine. Now my priorities in Wikimedia activities include engaging underrepresented user groups (women, older people, youth, people with disabilities, etc.) and developing the Crimean Tatar Wikipedia.
